[The location is only too obvious when he awakens. How recently had he seen that bunk above him? And how often? Six months wasn't a long stretch of time comparatively, but when you've spent a good two years in complete darkness, waking up to such a sight definitely stands out. And even beyond that, there's something about the coloration here...

It doesn't take him long to notice a few key things. 1: that his body lacks any coloration, and 2: that the face peering out from inside the mirror - in full color no less - isn't his.

...So. It's his turn now. A sense of fear begins to constrict his heart, but he pushes aside the feeling as best as he can and makes for the door. The sooner it's over, the better...]

[A - the dormitory hallways]

[When he steps into the boy's dormitory hall to begin investigating, he freezes at the sight of the mirror down the hallway. Even though it's quite some distance away, he can see flesh tones in there, and somebody waving cheekily at the viewer.

His first instinct is to back into his room and try to see if he can't get past the mirror and out the window, but if someone spots him quickly enough, they may just be able to catch him instead.]

[B - the forest]

[Either way, he can later be found walking into the dense forests around the school, all the way to the barrier surrounding it. While he seems initially surprised upon hitting the barrier to the west of the classrooms, his expression quickly changes to one of contemplation. His hand curls up under his chin as he considers what all of this means.

It's definitely a smaller campus than he remembers. That, and... odd, too. Since it's his Heart, he would have thought it would be around... But if it cut off here, there's no way that could be in this World after all. How strange...]

...Haah. Well. He certainly does know of someone similarly testy when it comes to painting, though he's usually kept his head down enough that it never caused any problems. He simply shakes his head when Hinata speaks up.]

...It's alright. I can step outside for now - just let me know if there's anything I can do.

[And out he goes. He'll just wait by the door in the meantime, no rush or anything.]

[ The rather surly phantom watches him go but turns to look at Hinata, crossing his arms. ]

He left, so I don't care. You don't understand, he's not going to be able to help us. That's just how it is. He's useless.

[ This time, the younger phantom looks at Hinata. She bites her lip, in thought. ]

I'm sorry he's so mean... he's just like that, um. Your friend can probably help you look! Um, uuum... we need to find paint... the problem is, someone stole all the paint in the school. I even went and looked for it earlier, but it's all gone now. So none of us can paint... but we all have an idea of maybe how to get some colors to paint with. Do you think you could help us?

[ The younger girl phantom looks up at Hinata, hopeful. ]

[ He shouldn't pry. He really shouldn't. And yet, he's going to nevertheless, because that's just the type of person he is. He... wants to help. ]

And why exactly do you think that? Because he's different? [ That's fucking rude, but at least the girl doesn't seem to be as bad. ]

But I can at least hear your ideas of how to get those colors first, so I don't search blindly.

[ The grumpy student just goes back to, well, being grumpy--if you're going to be rude, he isn't going to be any help, then. He just stomps off to the back of the class. ]

Mhmmm! Yeah... so we need Red, Blue, and Yellow, right? I was thinking we could get some yellow from some crushed up Dandelions. I think I saw a few growing out in the yard outside the school.

[ Dream logic; of course that'd work for paint. The older girl decides to speak up, now. ]

Yeah, that'd work. I was thinking... about the Blue... what we'd really need for it... well. There's this really rare, pretty blue-blooded, blue-shelled beetle that lives in the forest, too... it's pretty big. I THINK you'd have to sneak up on it, but I bet the snakes in there could help you find it. ... He... he had an idea about what to do for Red, but, um... well. I don't think he wants to talk to you, now... s-sorry. I could ask him later, maybe?

Yeah, I'll just come back when I get the blue and the yellow, is that alright?

[ That way he can get some space and then he can get the answer. ]

[ The smaller girl phantom will give Hinata a smile. ]

[ He smiles before turning on his heel and going back towards where Sasuke had disappeared to. Two hears are better than one, and they need to get some things, so?? He'll need all the help he can get. ]

[As promised, Sasuke can be found standing outside of the room, back to the wall as he mainly just... stares into space. If the exchange bothered him at all, he doesn't show it.]

Where do we need to look?

They said that we need to get some dandelions and beetles... for yellow and blue. I told them I'd come back to figure out red.

Those can probably be found in the forest...

I've seen dandelions out there, but I'm not sure I've seen any beetles. Does it have to be a specific kind?

Apparently they're supposed to be these rare blue blooded and blue shelled beetle.

[Is it even the right season for-- Wait. Dream. Never mind.]

Well, we can get the dandelions first, at least.

[And with that, he'll turn to head outside. He hasn't felt any new pangs recently, so maybe the others have stopped... whatever it was they were doing, but just to be on the safe side, he'll keep up a quick pace.

At least the weeds should be easy to spot though, right?]

[ Dandelions are, indeed, on the edge of the forest. They are ripe for the picking, and the duo will find no issue with the weeds. They're numerous. ]
