Ankh has been hurt, more than once. He can't remember all the pieces, but he can guess well enough who it was that broke his medal. OOO will always turn against him, it seems. And he can't get close to anyone without being betrayed. So he won't. He won't say anything more about his past, and he won't care whether Sebastian is terrified of pain. That much stays true even if he can't begin to make himself care about his own life.

As for the question being asked of him, he can't help the slight smirk. "You were right. You don't want to shoot, even now." Curiosity, that's the answer to why it took so long, why he doesn't shoot. The others are things he wouldn't be able to answer even if he knew Sebastian was thinking them. None of it makes his aim waver in the slightest.

"I wanted to see what you would do with someone who was about to hurt you. So I have a question for you: do you think I will?"
