What: Welcome to the Dark Hour!
Where: In the Strega warehouse.

[When he first wakes up, Ken finds himself lying on a bed. That in itself isn't so unfamiliar, but this one has dents where it should, the shape of a small body pressed into it over weeks and months, and the sheets are soft and scratchy in just the right places and -]
[Oh no. He sits up and pulls himself out of bed, reaching almost automatically for Koromaru but... he's not there. Of course not. He'd been expecting the Tower, but this is worse, because they're not here because this is his Heart, not theirs, and because -]
[No. He has to think of what to do. He grabs the dangpa that Shinjiro made him and the copy of Gae Buidhe that Diarmuid gave him, strapping them onto his back. He needs to stay defended in this place, no matter what - the last Heart taught him that much.]
[The familiar pressure of the Dark Hour doesn't bother him, but it's worrying. It should be gone now. They won. It's over. Even in his Heart, it shouldn't be around. But it is, and there's a brief flare of panic before -]
[No. He needs to get going. The puzzles aren't going to find themselves.]

Her gaze follows the sheet of bloody paper as it moves around within the grasp of one bloody handprint after the other. It could be another piece of Ken's Evoker, so she understands why Liao goes to grab for it.
She's certainly not expecting the shrieking that kicks in after he does... or the fire and shadowy blood figure. Ken and Sasuke try to free Liao's hand, but it is securely affixed to the wall and still wrapped around the sheet of paper. Harley frowns, but then her eyes widen a touch and with a small sigh she sacrifices her remaining sleeve, tearing it free from her body suit. She ties it so there is a ball of material at one end, and still enough to hold.]
I hope this works... [She moves toward the heat of the fire and stick the material into it, to catch it on fire. Once burning, she'll bring it back toward the others, hand cupping the bundle to keep the flame from going out.]
Okay... don't move... I'm gonna try ta burn the paper, yeah? [She lifts her gaze to his.] I'm gonna try ta hurt ya as little as possible... [She brings the burning bundle close to where Liao is gripping the paper, hoping to catch it on fire without burning him (at least not too badly).]

It reads: Trying to take what doesn't belong to you is always asking for trouble, but didn't we always have no choice? What about you? What will you do? ... There's nothing left to return to, at this point. One can only take so much before their emotions burn out.
If it is given to Ken, it will turn out to be another piece of his Evoker, reading: THE HANGED MAN. The face is, this time, not blotted out by blood, but burned off the card itself. ]
