Who: The Alices of the Beta Round remaining (Sasuke, Harley, Hinata, Ken, Lalli, and Liao)
What: Everyone has a choice to make. Specifically, it begins as Sasuke's choice.
Where: The World's Hub, the room the Rabbit normally stands.
Warnings: Definite violence. Somebody got... something.

A smile reaches the White Rabbit's face as he hands the sharp key to Sasuke.

"... I'm certain you recall the choice you made," he says slowly. "But it's up to you to decide if you really want to uphold that. Who is 'most evil' in this World? You've seen so very many Hearts, after all--I'm sure you could reach a decision. ... The Cat and I, of course... well, we hardly count. We've never been human, after all."

And he'll remain in that same spot he's always been in, of course.

"While you all decide, your rooms will wait for you. Or you could all stay here and fight about it. Either way, sweet dreams, Alices."

KNIFE FIGHT! Paging Sasuke and everyone else!

[...Okay, so it's not an actual knife fight. But it's a debate over a knife. That's good enough.]

[Lalli seemed stunned after everyone returned to the Hub, after the events of his Heart. He was having difficulty coping with the fact that the other Alices seemed to still be alive. Every other Alice had either died in his own Heart with him powerless to help them, or they had gotten infected and forced Lalli to kill them himself. ...That, on top of the other trauma that had been heaped upon him, has left Lalli even worse for wear than usual.]

[He hasn't been talking much since the group returned to the Hub, but that's nothing new. He ignores the Rabbit and Cat, which is also not new. Instead, he goes immediately to Sasuke after the boy is finished speaking with their 'hosts', and holds out his hand expectantly.]

[If Lalli was being perfectly honest... he no longer saw any point in going home. His eventual fate would be the same, anyway.]

[He immediately takes a step back when Lalli approaches, his expression wary. Everyone here has their own skill sets, but Lalli in particular is quick.

Of all the people here... he'd really prefer not to tangle with this guy.

As for the key? He holds it close. Close to his gut in particular, the tip brushing against his shirt where it would surely slide into flesh without any bones to get in the way.]

[Lalli tilts his head. Sssssslllllooooooooooowwwwwwly. His expression is vacant -- not 'guarded', like it's supposed to be, but well and truly vacant.]

[His fingers curl a few times.]

[He's not going to hurt you again. Come on. Give him the key...]

[ Hinata is also here, but right now? He's glaring at both Sasuke and Lalli before he speaks up, loud enough to attempt to not only break the tension, but surprise everyone. ]

Drop the key right now!! [ And for added affect: ] Or else I'll make you. If you guys are going to use it for your own selfish reasons, then you'll have walked straight into a trap! Is that what you really want? To just simply follow the rules that this so-called god placed for us by telling us that this is the only way out?

[So Hinata's trying to stop him too, huh?

He doesn't give a verbal answer. There's no time to waste with that, with these two approaching him like this. So instead...

There's a quick motion as he holds the key in both hands and drives the "key" into his own flesh.]

[ There's a clawed hand stopping Sasuke, as the Cat is suddenly there with a meow. Instead, he's just got a big toothy grin. ]

Not until I have a talk with someone first. There might be a second way out after all. Mmmmbuuuuut that doesn't mean you have to leave, you know, Alice? Just means you can stay and... Peacefully turn to foam.

[Ken's about to move, about to say something - but then the Cat's there and not making sense and.]

[He growls and resists the urge to punch Sasuke.]

[ He knows that this is directed at Sasuke, but Hinata can't help but be surprised nevertheless, gaping wide. ]

W-Wait, really?!

[ While Hinata still doesn't like the idea of Sasuke turning to foam since he considers him as a friend, the fact that there's a second way out sounds... hopeful. ]

[...Brr. Having the Cat's claw touching him isn't the worst thing he's gone through here, but it's still unpleasant.]

...Why are you changing your mind now!?

[He makes an attempt to angle the key again, to go through with it, but... he's probably not going to get past the Cat.]

Because somethin' changed. And hey. You want to disappear, right? Never said you couldn't. Just that you might not have to bleed to do it.

[ Nope, you're not going to move it at all. ]

[ The Cat has noticed. He's been watching Lalli with a keen interest ever since they exited the World. But finally, he'll speak up. ]

Hey. Alice with the Heart full of undead terrors. I wanna talk with you.

Alone.

[soloactor]

[Lalli turns his head.]

[You.]

[He gives the Cat a gutteral growl, but a moment later, shifts the rest of his body to face the same way as his head.]

[What do you want?]

Come here. They don't get to overhear.

[ He's going to beckon to Lalli to lead him out of earshot. ]

[Lalli follows the Cat's beckoning.]
