When it had become clear that this wasn't a dream... or at least not a dream that she had any control of... Harley had taken a definitive swerve in her approach. While she wasn't particularly in much of a hurry to see things move along, she
did want to get home at some point; after all, Mistah J and her babies needed her, didn't they? And she didn't really want to stick around the stuffy excuse of a White Rabbit this place was advertising, either. Cheshire she could dig... he was a special breed of chaos that Harley had always enjoyed in the old Alice stories.
But none of this was really bringing enjoyment to Harley like it might've a few short hours ago and she couldn't quite put her finger on what was off... She wanted to go home and going home meant playing these stupid games and finding the stupid keys that the Velveteen Roadkill was asking for.
Great.
She'd open the cupboard and everything had gone black before she'd woken in an unfamiliar room. She spent several minutes poking around, looking for anything of interest and coming up empty and deciding that heading out was the next logical option...
Logical sucked.
At the CottagesWhile some of the other guests might have chosen other first step options, Harley had taken it upon herself to investigate the locked doors that stretched down the hall.
She has two hairpins in hand, one straightened and one bent, and is currently bent in front of the room next to the one she'd awoken in, tongue caught between her teeth as she works the lock with practiced motions.
A Lovely Day for ShoppingHaving access to all the free shopping she could possibly want had been yet another unfulfilling highlight to Harley's day. She had two carts loaded, although neither had anything remotely resembling food amongst their contents.
Mortar and pestle, bleach, tennis balls, nails, duct tape, matches, mason jars and fertilizer were just a small percentage of her eclectic item choices. You might not even make a connection between the balloons, liquid plumber and aluminum foil... but maybe you
would...
