[The location is only too obvious when he awakens. How recently had he seen that bunk above him? And how often? Six months wasn't a long stretch of time comparatively, but when you've spent a good two years in complete darkness, waking up to such a sight definitely stands out. And even beyond that, there's something about the coloration here...

It doesn't take him long to notice a few key things. 1: that his body lacks any coloration, and 2: that the face peering out from inside the mirror - in full color no less - isn't his.

...So. It's his turn now. A sense of fear begins to constrict his heart, but he pushes aside the feeling as best as he can and makes for the door. The sooner it's over, the better...]

[A - the dormitory hallways]

[When he steps into the boy's dormitory hall to begin investigating, he freezes at the sight of the mirror down the hallway. Even though it's quite some distance away, he can see flesh tones in there, and somebody waving cheekily at the viewer.

His first instinct is to back into his room and try to see if he can't get past the mirror and out the window, but if someone spots him quickly enough, they may just be able to catch him instead.]

[B - the forest]

[Either way, he can later be found walking into the dense forests around the school, all the way to the barrier surrounding it. While he seems initially surprised upon hitting the barrier to the west of the classrooms, his expression quickly changes to one of contemplation. His hand curls up under his chin as he considers what all of this means.

It's definitely a smaller campus than he remembers. That, and... odd, too. Since it's his Heart, he would have thought it would be around... But if it cut off here, there's no way that could be in this World after all. How strange...]

He actually stops to look at Ken with an expression of mixed disbelief and shock, gradually melting into one of resigned acceptance. Because, you know, it's sort of hard to say that sounds crazy when you're currently running around a world based on your own heart along with some random folks from other worlds and times.

Still. That's... a thing.]

Why stop at home?

[He's... not gonna touch the Tower stuff for now.]

[He shifts a little uncomfortably. Talking about the Tower is easy enough. Talking about that...]

My mother... she... was killed. In an accident. But no one believed me - or they believed me and covered it up. I didn't have relatives to take me in, and... the man that showed up at the hospital... I didn't trust him, so I ran away. He turned out to not have good intentions later anyway, but... I lived on the streets for a while before a group with similar abilities to me took me in. They were runaways, too. So... I never went.

Now that things are... better at home... I plan on going back. I should be able to catch up okay. I tried to study a lot of different things in the library in the Tower, even if it wasn't like classes.

[And if it gets really bad he'll just... run to Waver's world as a last resort. It's not like they'd turn him away.]

[...Ah. That's a somewhat familiar story. It causes him to pause again, but he doesn't look at Ken this time, hesitating for only a second before continuing on.]

...Sorry to bring it up.

[It's quiet, but the slight sympathetic tone can still be heard.]

[He sighs and runs a hand through his hair and... resists the urge to scratch himself behind one ear.]

I guess I'm just glad that I haven't gone yet and I can warn people about... how bad my Heart might be.

Because of the stuff with the tower?

[Losing your mother was one thing, but it didn't quite stand out as much as... That.]

That and... everything that went on at home.

Like fighting the avatar of the goddess of night. Like fighting the repressed emotions of pretty much everyone? Like that kind of stuff.

[...He is making a Face. It can't be seen because he's walking toward the school, but it is happening.]

Is that normal where you're from?

[It's really hard to gauge when you kinda say bits and pieces without context.]

Not really. It's kind of a long story.

...If you think your World is coming up, you'll probably need to round everyone up and let them know.

[But that aside, hey look! There's the school again.]

...For now though, we should probably hurry and find the key here.

Yeah. I don't know how we'd be able to tell but I'm... letting people know as I can.

Trust me, I don't want to go poking around in anyone's issues more than I have to.

I don't know how easy it will be to avoid it...

[They... did sort of have to dig around quite a bit to find the key in Hinata's world, after all.]

...For here at least, just get through it as quickly as you can. The sooner we get out of here, the better.

We'll try. Do you have any idea where a key might be? Anywhere most people don't go?

Yes, but I don't think we can reach it right now. There's a shrine deep in the forest, but that barrier's way too close to the school for us to find it.

[He tried.]

We'll have to find a way around.

... Did anything happen at the shrine that might... come up?

[That's the million dollar question, isn't it?]

...Might have.

[So obviously now would be the best time to be vague about it.

With no better ideas, he'll begin to head towards the main school building. Once they enter the walkways, Ken may notice someone else - and someone quite colorful at that - appearing in the mirrors instead of Sasuke.]

... You know it's probably going to end up coming out in the open.

[Just. You know. Prepare yourself, Sasuke. ... But the sudden appearance of the brightly colored person in the mirror who is not Sasuke makes him raise his eyebrows.]

Someone you know?

If it does, it'll probably be in front of everyone at once.

[So. Why bother right now?]

--That's my brother.

[His voice becomes mildly exasperated right then. The boy reflected in the mirror, looking terribly similar to Sasuke save for the part in his hair, the wristband on his right arm, and the fact that he's smiling - waves back. Hey there, tiny.]

... Not a fan of him?

[Hey, he's not tiny! Shh.]

[If he weren't a reflection, he'd probably pat you on your tiny head, Ken.]

We never really got along.

[His brother, meanwhile, looks offended. "Hey, it's not my fault you're so difficult all the time. You keep causing problems for everyone. I even offered you an out--

If you'd just disappeared, I could do my job, easy."

Ken won't be able to hear his voice, but Sasuke seems to be fine ignoring the fact that his reflection is clearly trying to speak with him.]

Mm. That's...

[What does he even say to that? The only family other than his mother that he's had he hasn't actually been related to.]
